Chicago SAA Meetings
To speak with a recovering member of Chicagoland S.A.A.
***COVID-19 UPDATE ALL FACE TO FACE MEETING SUSPENDED***
By attending digital meetings, group members can focus on S.A.A.’s primary purpose: to carry its message of recovery to the Sex Addict who still suffers. Many groups have alerted local S.A.A. helplines if they are temporarily not meeting in their regular physical space. Some groups have shared that they are utilizing digital platforms such as Zoom, Google Hangouts, or conducting conference calls.
S.A.A. in the digital age has certainly taken on a new meaning in these challenging times, reminding its members and those searching for help that S.A.A. is not just a “place,” but exists in the hearts, minds and help offered.
Telemeetings of Sex Addicts Anonymous offer an accepting, non-threatening environment where we can share our common struggles and learn how to apply the principles of the Twelve Steps to our everyday lives. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop addictive sexual behavior. There are no fees or dues. It’s a simple program, and it is working for us.
An SAA group consists of two or more individuals who, using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of SAA, meet regularly for the purpose of recovering from their addictive sexual behavior.
